When you come to Boquete from outside the country you will fly into Tocumen Airport in Panama City. You will need to transfer to Allbrook Airport for the one-hour flight to the city of David, near the Costa Rican border. Allow 60 minutes taxi driving time from one airport to the other. The last flight daily to David leaves at 5pm and you need to be there at 4pm. If your flight does not come in early enough to make this connection you will need to stay a night in Panama City and catch a morning flight. This may give you an opportunity to explore a bit of the city.

Flights from Panama City to David.
There are two airlines flying from Panama City to David. Mapiex fly's smaller 11and 19-passenger planes that takes about 45 minutes. Areoperlas uses a slower 32-passenger plane that takes about one hour. Areoperlas is much more strict on their overweight baggage and only allows 25 lbs. Mapiex rarely hassles you for over weight baggage.
